Take this jr high sh** out of here. I bet McDermott is happy for all of those to happen. Jacobsen because it reinforces his coaching style works with the right pieces. That the people he recruited had great success and lastly for seeing Johnson as a diamond in the ruff..... that tells he knows talent!
Oh, I am sure he is happy for all of them, but there is no way he doesn't play the "what-if" game with himself. He has to wonder what kind of success he could have had if he stayed at UNI with these same players, and he has to wonder if Wes staying here would have helped him avoid this tumultious situation he is in now. I am not saying he is vengeful or anything, but he has to look at this tournament and be curious about what could have been if he had made a few different decisions.
