The Denver Broncos have acquired quarterback Brady Quinn from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for fullback Peyton Hillis, a sixth-round pick in 2011 and a conditional pick in 2012.

That's not much to trade for a QB. No one must think he's any good.

Delhumme will not last long behind that line. I think Secneca will see a lot of time as the starting QB. Quin spends more time doing magazine shoots than he does practicing and studying game film.

I imagine he will play better than Chris "I secretly play for the other team" Simms. Orton is the qb for next year. For the 2011 season, if there is one, it will be a competition between Quinn and Brandstater.

Not going to happen. Seneca was brought in to be the backup and help teach the offense. Holmgren is on the record stating there will not be a QB battle on the Browns this year.

While I see your point, this isn't going to be a situation like Anderson/Brady where they were neck and neck competing for the job. Where one of them was getting paid starter money, and the other was a high draft pick.

Seneca was brought in as a clear backup, and is a perennial backup. Delhomme is stepping in as the starter, and is getting paid as the starter.

I don't like it, I don't like it one bit. Quinn is not a leader and I've not seen anything that makes me think he's a good quarterback.
