all transfer team....

We've probably done this before, but, since we've got a few more options for the team we should update it.....I think we've got enough for 2 teams

1st team

Sean Taggart F
Corey Johnson F
Wesley Johnson F
Mike Taylor G (okay I know he was kicked off the team but I need a 2 guard that can score and defend)
Tasheed Carr G

2nd team

Justin Hamilton F
Clinton Mann F
Lucca Staiger G (kind of a transfer, basically said he didn't want to be at ISU anymore)
Corey McCintosh G
Dominique Buckley G

Honorable mention, Wes Eichmeir, who else?

Re: all transfer team....

I tuned into the ACC Tourney last night and saw that Farnold Degand was starting for NC State. So he'd be in our top ten of players that have left IMO.

Please add to correct as you see fit.

Brackins, Craig
Buckley, Dominique
Dunson, Dodie
Eikmeier, Wes
Hamilton, Justin
Jacobson, Brock
Johnson, Cory
Johnson, Wesley
Lee, Cameron
Mann, Clinton
Marsden, Ross
McIntosh, Corey
Pomlee, L.A.
Staiger, Lucca
Taylor, Mike

I believe Brister made it to campus.

The thing that always disturbs me isn't the amount of people leaving, it is that no one stays. Under McD we've only had Clark actually stay for his entire eligibility. Next year we will have Garrett and Boozer and no one for the year after that.

What's my point? In 6 years (and including people that carried over from Morgan) McD would've / will have had only 3 people choose to stay for all 4 years. That just blows my mind....

And one of those wasn't even his recruit. Clark may have only stayed because of his fiance.

Rahshon Clark
Jared Homan
Jake Sullivan
Andrew Skogland

I think those are they only guys to complete their 4 years of eligibility at Iowa State in about the last decade.

Can I ask what the point of this list is? As I see no common theme between the three?

Seeing how you left out the only other reason people leave (they have run out of eligibility) it appears the agenda of this 'list' is to shed negative light on the coach and the fact of the number of people who leave 'early'. (seeing how the only players you list are from the McDermott era)

Yet adding Craig Brackins to that list is very counter productive to such an argument. We had a player who is 'good enough' to enter his name into the NBA draft so he leaves early. That's a 'problem' most teams would love to have.

That said, you must not be trying to portray our coach in bad light and is the reason why I don't understand the purpose of posting this list.

If it is to bring up another 'argument against McD' it's a very bad one. After Ham has left, most people who were on the fence are already questioning themselves (myself included) but it's posts like these that try to stretch arguments that aren't there really bugs me and makes me want to argue for the other side (keeping McD).

My thoughts exactly. Well said.
