Over/Under 2 on how many additional wins ISU has if Wes Eikmeier stayed this year. Call me crazy - but I take the over easily. I liked Eikmeier. For everything he lacked - he brought some scoring swagger to the team. A year preparing this off season could have made him a valuable bench player and a spark this team desperately needed.

Over. Once Lucca left, the one thing our team lacked was the ability to knock down treys. I don't see how anyone could make a case for the under. If all he does is sit on the bench we end up with the same exact players that played, and therefore the same record. No way him sitting on the bench causes us to actually lose more...

Edit: Didn't see the nonchalant 2 placed after the over/under in the OP. My apologies.

I liked him, but I'm not sure where he would get mins from.

He was going to be RS'd this year. So, none.
This. I would love to still have Eikmeier on the team and think he would have been a good player for us as a junior and senior. But, he would not have played at all this year as the plan was for him to redshirt.

He didn't have the drive to be a high major D1 player, but I still think we would have gotten at least one or two more wins with him. He was a heady player, and could get off a quick release. If he was able to commit himself to the weight room/training table, I believe he could have been a legit Big 12 player. Unfortunately, for us and and him, he didn't want to put forth the effort...

It will be interesting to follow Wes' career. I bet he does well at CSU. Wouldve been a good MVC player also.

I think he was sick for most of the season last year, so I don't think it is fair to beat him up too much. He was undersized for the big 12, but he could have provided some scoring from the guard position, and that is something we didn't see much of.
