Getting ready to pull the trigger on a couple of Wednesday night Big XII tourney tickets. Are we pretty much assured the 11th seed? Even if we somehow beat K-State would we move up? Since we beat NU twice, there is no way we could move to the 12 seed?

Yes we are assured the 11th seed. We have NU beat in head to head and OU and Texas Tech have us beat in head to head.
Not only are we assured the 11th seed, we either will play Texas if they lose to Baylor or beat Baylor by less than 4, or Baylor if they lose by more than 4 to Texas.
ISU vs. Texas: 1/13/10 @ Hilton Coliseum, ISU lost 90-83
ISU vs. Baylor: 2/3/10 @ Baylor, ISU lost 84-63
Either way, it's looking like a one and done in the Big XII tourney short of some small miracle.

I think I'd rather draw Texas, despite the name. Their fans have been freaking out in the local media since they have tumbled so far since being #1. I think we tend to match up with them a little better and usually play them pretty close.
Not like it will matter anyway.
According to this, http://www.notnothing.net/bball/b12mbb.php, we would play Texas A&M if A&M loses to OU and if Texas beats Baylor.
In that same scenario, we would also play Mizzou in round 2 if we advance.

kind of wierd that if we pulled off a miracle in the 1st round that we would actually get a better match up in the 2nd round
Our last win in the Big 12 tournament was on March 10, 2005. It doesn't matter who we play, I know what the result will be.

If GMac wears a cardinal and gold tie and decides to coach every possession like his life depends on it...and Brackins decides to punish his defenders inside 10-ft. and refuses to settle for outside shots and attempts more FT than treys...and Gilstrap just flat outworks his defender...and Diante dishes and finishes...and Christopherson drains a couple trays...and Hamilton gets mean (and I mean dropping guys with fouls)...and Dendy beats people up in the paint with double digit rebounds and shoots 60% FT...and Colvin gets a couple steals and break away assists...and Buckley drops a shoulder on an opposing guard and nails a couple FGs...and Alex Dorr scores five points...you know what...see you in the championship game.
