NFL: Who's gonna be left to run the ball in San Diego???

If they were gonna do this they probably would have been better off keeping Michael Turner around.

As it is, they're probably banking on getting a decent RB in the draft.

C.J.Spiller maybe?? He's alot like Sproles as far as returning kicks and such, but a little bigger and might be able to carry the load.

Wouldn't you rather Jackson get to go to SD than be stuck in Buffalo?

Freddy isn't leaving Buffalo. I've heard they are shopping Marshawn around. I would prefer they keep Fred, sign Michael Vick, which would then help keep T.O. around. Add a few new lineman and they might make the playoffs.

:biglaugh::biglaugh:

no way they'd be any good with Vick and TO.

Chargers beat writer Kevin Acee reports that he's heard Combine buzz that Antonio Cromartie could be shipped to the Lions "soon."

San Diego had been looking for a running back in return, but the Lions don't have a good one to offer. Thus, he's likely to command a mid-round draft pick as compensation. The fit in Detroit is good because DC Gunther Cunningham uses lots of press coverage, an area in which Cromartie can excel. He doesn't tackle well enough to succeed in heavy zone systems.
