I honestly think we are done seeing Walt, though I haven't seen any info on if the actor was retained for this season?

Aaron would be interesting, but I just don't see it at his current age. I am leaning towards Whidmore because we have yet to see him in this season and we were lead to believe he had something to do with this "final showdown" that was going to take place on the island. Maybe he was banished for corroborating with the MIB in the first place??

Sun? Its got to happen sooner or later.
 
How can the "old friend" NOT be Claire?? She had him at gun point in the forest two weeks ago, and it's been over three years to Jin since he's seen her.
 
Interesting to see Jack has a kid. All-in-all another solid episode. Learning more and more as we go along...
 
My thoughts:

Both Jacob and MIB are looking for replacements.
The lighthouse (light) is Jacob's list of candidates.
The cave (dark) is MIB's list.
I also noticed that in the light house the name Austen was listed at 51 and not crossed out... referring to Kate.
 
And I think that 108, which read Wallace, is who is coming to the island. Although Wallace was crossed out, so they aren't a candidate.
 
Not quite sure where they are going with the "alternate timeline" now. It's not a representation of what life would have been like if they hadn't crashed, because Jack never had a son before the crash. So you have to go back about 15 years or so to see where the time lines diverge? What was the catalyst?
 
Agreed, another solid episode. Good to see that the names in the cave were expanded upon with the degrees that the lighthouse mirror could be faced. This season is already in late season form and we're only five episodes in?

I wonder who the 108th degree corresponded to. Never got to see that I don't think.

IIRC in one of Jack's flash forwards last season it showed his ex-wife Sarah was pregnant. Could be hers.... also would be interesting if it was Juliets or something, since I'm still waiting for her to appear in the alternate timeline.
 
This sucks. I have to wait a week for a new episode. I just spent the last two days catching up. Watched like 9 episodes. This season is definitely getting good.
 
Good episode, not as good as last week though. Waiting to see some screen captures of the names in the lighthouse...Looks like all hell is going to break out next week. Can't wait!
