You Hawks find joys in the simple things in life dont you? It's always good to see that a Hawk took the time to write all that up. Then it's even more impressive that a Hawk took the time to troll on over to an Iowa State message board just to share it with all of their Cyclone friends. Class acts you Hawks are.

No, no, no. It's funny when hawk fans make fun of/talk smack about ISU. It's only obsession when ISU fans mention iowa. Go to the Smack Talk forum on HR. It's quite comical.
The fact that ISU fans don't go to the same lengths to mock Iowa should tell you something about where the obsession lies. Hawk fans are just as obsessed with ISU as ISU fans are with Iowa.

Some people's actual favorite team is the team that is playing Iowa/ISU (ie: they hate Iowa/ISU more than they like ISU/Iowa)
Some people could care less about Iowa/ISU
Some people will actually root for both.
And then there is an all of the above category which I think most people fall into.
Last year I have rooted against ISU when they played Iowa, rooted for them when they played Nebraska, and then really didn't care one way or the other for the remaining games.(unless I had money on them, real or fake)
That website has mocked Paterno and Zook a lot more than they've gone after Pollard or ISU. Some of the parodies of Mr. Paterno are hilarious.
But I guess humor is in the eye of the beholder.

Maybe it's a bit unfair to paint BHGP with such a big brush, but I've seen some radically anti-ISU blogs.
I don't know if it's still around, but there used to be a site called hawkiz.com or something along those lines, and it was basically run by 3 Corona chugging frat boys that would just rip ISU up and down. Someone posted the link on CR a couple days before the 2005 Iowa/ISU game. They got a lot of new visitors to the site after that one.
My point being, is that these guys' hatred for ISU was unlike anything I've seen on CF, or any Iowa message board. I've never seen an ISU fan create a website solely to make rip on Iowa. Maybe they have, and I'm not aware of it.

No, it's not, but I think one of their former writers does some stuff for BHGP, and might be the same guy that writes for Yahoo sports.
