How much does a gyro cost in Ames?

I haven't been in Ames for about 10 years and I was just wondering how much a gyro costs off the gyro cart these days?

Good question. I loved them things when I was in Ames. Just can't seem to find a decent place that has them up here in Waterloo.

Really wish we had some good good Greek restaurants here in the states like I used to find when I lived in Germany. Greek and Turkish food is awesome....

I can't remember how much they were in 2007. I know they gave out 50 cent pieces as change. $4.50 maybe?

I never had $35 in my pocket in college. I had $3 to get into Tazzles for free beer from 7-10pm.

Plenty of good Greek places in Chicago :smile:. (and plenty of Gyros too).

Does the Gyro cart guy actually have a spinning gyro or is it pre-cut meat? or does he cut it off the spinning meat before going out?
