Maybe it's just me, but the officiating in conference play for ISU has been below par. Every game our post players get grabbed or shoved, the guards get bumped and pushed around as well. Maybe i'm the only one that thinks this, but i never seen this bad or inconsistent officiating at this level before

This happens to every team in conference play. ISU just isn't strong enough to fight it off (or dish it out) like the other teams do...

This. Sums up every aspect of our MBB program.

I asked in the other thread, does our team lift weights? I mean Boozer looks to have added muscle and put on weight, but anyone else?

Big12 officiating does suck. At least a couple of the officials do. They take care of favorites. But you have to at least be competitive to have officiating matter. We are not.

I thought there were some bad calls both ways today. I normally don't say much, but I thought it was pretty bad today especially early in the game.

Football isn't that good either...

You never hear "Iowa State got away with one there!" We always get hit with the legit and ticky-tack stuff (e.g., Hamilton's block at the start of the half).

Today there were at least two "NBA" fouls called today where the refs waited to see if the basketball was going to go in, then after it did called an "and 1". Worst officiating I've seen in a long time, however did not come close to losing us the game. To beat a top five team though, need a little luck and favorable officiating.

The refs are there to make sure that the ranked teams stay as high as they are because the more national exposure=more revenue for the big 12....college athletics are turning into a business....but if it was at ISU, Pollard would cut his losses and start over after this 4 year period of sub-sub-mediocrity.....pitiful
