I think he is more than worthy...he was a stud defender too...until his knees caused him issues.

I know Roberto Alomar is more than controversial...but he should have been a 1st ballot hall of famer! He could dominate games defensively and offensively!

I feel worse for Blyleven than Alomar. Blyleven could get wins with some teams that were awful.

Can't find it, but there's some amazing stats out there about how many games he lost where he only gave up one or two runs. Had very little run support in his career.

That's impressive longevity. And to throw all those innings and complete games. He ate innings, but did it as a stellar pitcher, not just a guy who hangs around.

He gave up home runs to about everybody.

Although giving one up to Mark Grace wasn't easy. That man didn't hit a ton of them out.
