Scott Christopherson will be Big XII newcomer of the year

He is a good player. What we have is a "team" concept right now with ALL of the guys. He is smart, and great off the bench. But let's wait for all of this talk when we have some real competition....and it begins Friday night against "St. Louie." I like the spirit and the attitude of this squad early. As for newcomer of the year, he will have to give Gilstrap a run by seasons end-:wink:
I think that Dendy might have something to say about it too if he looks anything like he did in the first game.
I'd say we have the best set of newcomers in the conference probably: Gilstrap, Christopherson, Dendy, and Colvin sure have added a lot of depth and much needed athleticism.
I think this is the key. That's also why I like Scott so much-teams need guys like him that don't necessarily get all the accolades. I like Gilstrap too-need the "award" guys too.:smile:
He's a really smart player. That's what I like about him. Not as gifted athletically as some of the others, but uses his head well. He reminds me just a little bit of Fred Hoiberg.
