Just checked out ESPN and shows no votes for ISU Mens BBALL this week, but Notre Dame got some, so hopefully if we can get thru this week with all Ws then we should be getting some votes. Then week after that should be joining the Top 25... what's everyone think? GO STATE

I think you posted this is the wrong forum.

But other than that I agree with you.

If we come out of this week 7-0, we'll be getting some votes.

You have to play someone and win numerous times to receive votes. Haven't done that yet.

so who has UNI beat to get some votes?

edit: sorry they didnt get any this week but they did last week

I wouldn't expect any votes after this week either. We have played teams that we should beat. if you look at our RPI(168), it is horrible compared to where we should be. However, after we beat Notre Dame, I can see use getting some votes and our RPI pretty close to 100.

That.

As for UNI getting votes last week, they went to NCAA last year and had returning starters, people assumed they were going to be good again.

These early poles are like football poles in the first couple of weeks, a popularity contest.

I don't know why people want us to get votes so bad? Respect is earned and we haven't done it yet. I hope we do, but let's hide as long as we can.

I'm not surprised at this. I will be surprised if we beat Tennessee State, St. Louis, and Northwestern/Notre Dame and don't get votes next week.

By my count there are 77 undefeated teams in Div 1 including 9 B12 teams. We will get there if we win enough games.

Are they like this pole?
