but it is nice to get some recognition on ESPN weekly watch:

Chicago (Friday-Saturday): The Chicago Invitational at UIC Pavilion has turned into a solid foursome. Depleted Northwestern could prove it isn't dead yet by beating Notre Dame. Iowa State is off to a solid start but so is Saint Louis. I wouldn't be surprised to see Iowa State win the event, although Notre Dame should be the favorite.

It's nice having some buzz around the team. This is another thing we can thank Craig for. He's the reason we're being talked about. Would Lucca have been mentioned in the column had CB not turned a few heads in our direction? Not sure, but we need to keep feeding this interest.
 
We SHOULD be getting votes at 4-0, we have the best power forward in the nation on our team....and we damn well be in the discussion. It would be big for GMac to finally have a nice positive event go for him....and thus, carry us nicely through the season. An early ranking for us will give our guys major confidence and an appetite to win the B12 this year. That is what I want....and I am sure that is what they are shooting for.

I thought we would be cracking the T25 just because of "Brackin's" name and the success that we have had IMO.

Really, I was just wanting a T25 match-up against ND on Saturday.....then beat them....and get some BIG national pub.

I think if we win this tourney we will be a top 25 team. We would be 7-0.

But on the other hand nobody has had a chance to see us play Unless they subscribe to Clonezone or the couple of Mediacom games
 
We keep winning...we will get votes. Northern Iowa has gotten several votes...opportunity to beat them will also help our cause.

Let the top 25 work itself out.
The longer we stay out of it, the better I think. I would rather sneak up on people if possible.

When they update the polls, I'm sure UNI will not be getting any votes after their loss to DePaul. But, still beating them would be a good win.

The Big Ten Network is doing the Northwestern-Notre Dame game. If we play Northwestern, there's a good chance the BTN will pick up that game as well. If we play Notre Dame ... dunno. Probably nothing.

I hope this team delivers when the competition improves. It is showing that we have the horses to win against better teams... but we haven't done it yet.

If we do, we'll be ranked.
 
UNI is still getting 16 votes after getting beat last week. Unreal.


Edit: 1-2 Utah State and 1-1 Western Kentucky also still getting votes.
