I know a handful of you don't care for my writing and believe my Mizzou blog should be less Mizzou-centric, but I also know that a few hundred of you came over to have a look at the ISU pieces I wrote last week. So, here's the post-mortem on the game.

Barking Carnival — Blog — Mizzou/ISU Post-Mortem: The Halftime Adjustment!

Great game, by the way. I hope those who came down had a great time. And to those who suggested I wasn't a serious blogger, I invite you to read this bit of hard-hitting journalism from July.

Barking Carnival — Blog — Quarterbacks and Dogs

Good luck in the bowl.

That was a very good Blog. I did not attend the game in Columbia, but hope to watch it on the FCS "Big 12 no Huddle".

I agree with you asssessment of AA. I'm not sure if his hand problem is still an issue. I'm hoping and praying for a huge Offensive improvement in the Bowl Game. I think the extra practice will really help this team, along with the long Break, its been a long season.

I'm not sure why people were rooting for KSU? I think people are still fearful that NU might get back to the 90's. I don't see that ever happening. Why on earth would a Top Recruit from Florida or Texas even consider NU????? Those Days are long gone and they aint comming back.

Not bad, looks like you got your head out of your ***. You're wrong about KU though, they are not better than their record indicates. There is not more than meets the eye w/ Mange-ino and KU, there's less. If your coach can keep from laying an egg; Tigers roll KU.

Totally agree. We SHOULD have beaten KU when we played them as well. They are seriously on the decline and MU should roll.

Melvin, thanks. The extra practice is huge for a new coach - Rhoads will get the most out of it.

we, I hope you're right. As a Tiger fan, I expect the worse for the most part. I entered undergrad in '89, the first year of Bob Stull, so I've known a lot of losing. It's embedded in my football outlook...

Replace Bob Stull with Jim Walden, remove "first year of", and this sounds all too familiar.
