UNC it is.

The more I think about it, I'm thinking it's hilarious that he invited everyone just to **** you all off.

i heard north carolina didnt want to wait until the spring for him to sign his LOI so he moved the signing date up to the fall

I would never say that someone has to like it, I don't like it, I wanted him here. But people need to have some class. This talk about how he used us, or how he invited everyone as a low blow to ISU is just BS.

There was total "class" on the part of the assembled crowd at the gym today. Class from a gym full of ISU fans as we all are.
If the #1 prep player was from Durham, or Chapel Hill, or Lawrence and had held a "public invited" presser like this to say that he was going elsewhere, I doubt there would have been the same level of class.

I'm concerned that you're a cyclone fan that's not ******, You're right that people should be respectful but you're way at the other end.

So all you people thought the #1 player in the country was going to commit to the perenial big 12 #10 team. And your surprised he did not? Unreal.

I am among the crowd that feels he used us and all of this was used as a big marketing blitz for him. I am upset he's not a cyclone and lost some respect for him for the way he did it. He could have had a closed ceremony and still invited friends and family and classmates and done it live on tv. It was opening it up to the the public (which was shockingly almost all ISU fans, he had to know it would be) where it seemed a dickish move. He just wanted to make it as grandiose as possible for the espn cameras. And then shoving Roy's big ugly mug up on the screen was the worst way ever to reveal it. Thanks for the lip service, Harry.

I don't wish him to have any injuries or illness or anything like that. I just hope him and UNC lose every game they play. I would have wished this on UNC even with out him. I am a cyclone fan so I dont have to cheer for the juggernaut teams, no matter what state one of their players may have bailed out of.

I really wish I was like some of the god-like figures populating this board who are infinitely better than the rest of us and continue to worship Harrison and demand we all cheer for him and UNC with all our hearts. Sorry, that's not me. I can be mad at him if I want and you can't stop me.

Good for him, but Barnes should not be allowed within 100 yards of Hilton or the practice facility from now on. We have wasted to much time for no return on him already. There is no need to let him continue to practice against a B12 roster so he can get better for UNC.

Does anyone think McDermott knew before today? I didn't watch any of the announcement. Did he seem surprised?

I had heard ISU was for sure out of the mix a month ago already.

That is from somebody with close connections to select team basketball in Iowa.

But he also said UCLA was leading at that point.
