ISU in the Kansas City Star

I was glad to see that article this morning too, although 3 of the 5 yahoos at the star picked K-State to win the game... Homers...

Wow - great article. makes me wish I still lived in KC where there is a solid Cyclone fan base - unlike STL where it is constant ridicule.

I'm not a big fan of the Star but it is either the Star or the Examiner for my local news read and the Examiner really stinks.

Try reading the STL Post Dispatch. The only teams they cover is 90% Mizzou and 10% Illini. Living here has made me hate Mizzou almost as much (maybe more at times) as Iowa.....seriously.

If you cant hate mizzou...I regress...If you dont hate mizzou...please take off the red and yellow er cardinal and gold!!!!!

Will there be a tailgate/pep rally before the game in KC?? Just wondering..

Go Clones....R.I.P. ... the mildcats!!!!!!!

TOTALLY Agree

I live in St. Louie too and you are correct about the Post Dispatch... they are enamored by the Tiggers... :notworthy:

That was a great article. I have to say I was amazed to learn Cecil Rhoads is 81. I never would have guessed that. He's always on the sidelines and is fun to talk to.

Great story. Reminds me of Paul's mother and her condition. That's very painful to hear again and I understand how tough a deal it is.

I liked the article, but I am ready for the day that every paper of the city we travel to does not have to do a "feel good" story. They will have to write a story about how good of program we have become and they are sick of ISU kicking ***!

The KC Star generally has better ISU stories than the Des Moines Register.

Rhoads is a hero in my book. I just hope he can slay some big dragons on his way.

Do you think he'd join our Dungeons and Dragons group?

We would have to start him as a level 12 Wizard Dwarf Necromancer. I dont want to show favoritism and lose my spot as High Commander Warlock Sprite.

So does the Omaha World Herald. Hell, I've even seen better stories about the Cyclones in the Burlington Hawkeye than the DM Reg., if you can believe that!
