MLB: I hate Milton Bradley

So does he regret signing with the Cubs, who are his seventh major league team?
"I don't regret anything," he said. "I regret that there are idiots in the world, that's what I regret."

Ouch. That 2 out, 'throw into the stands,' thing he did in June was nothing but boneheaded. He was the idiot...

You know what... We all know that there are idiots in this world. The fact that he gives a crap about what a waiter says, then tells the media says a lot about him.

Also, the fact that he waited until he went 4 for 4 the other night to break his "media silence" pisses me off too.

You do realize he's been one of the Cubs best players after the all star break right? He got started very cold, I think he put too much pressure on himself but he's been playing very well the second half. I think it's about time the fans started cutting him a break, the rest of the team has been playing terrible but the losses haven't been Milton's fault. That's just my opinion.

You now hate him because he feels like the whole City of Chicago hates him? Kind of low if you ask me. I see nothing wrong with the article. As a Cubs fan, the one thing that has annoyed the **** out of me for the past 5 or 6 years is the excessive amount of booing that takes place at Wrigley when players are slumping. You cant expect to many human beings to listen to 20,000 people boo you and expect that to help you get out of whatever slump you may be in. I say kudos to Bradley for being a man and admitting the general fan at Wrigley makes him feel very unwelcome!

Definitely agree. And the booing of him now is stupid because he's played well since the all star break. Of course the past week hasn't been his greatest up to the Washington series but he had been playing really well.

Yeah, he's all the way up to 32 RBIs now. He is an idiot, and it was an inexplicable signing.

He's been batting in the 2 hole. I don't expect someone batting in the 2 hole to get a lot of RBIs. Also when no one else on the team is hitting it's kind of hard to get those RBIs.

And nothing that hasn't happened before, either. It had no bearing on the outcome of the game, or the play it happened on, or what the final score in that game was.

I said it at the time - that play got magnified because of who it happened to, the team he plays for, and how that team was playing at the time.

Why do people still use RBI's as a stat they rate a player on?

Thank you! That's what I was thinking. That is the only stat I've seen tossed out. Since the all star break Bradley is batting almost .300 with a .435 OBP. Seems like pretty decent numbers to me. This is all while the team is taking a complete nose dive and no one around him can hit.

Not a Cubs fan. However, Milton Bradley would be considered one of the best hitters in the game if he wasn't so unlikeable. He's like Manny but different. Manny does stupid ****, but Milton does stupid **** that pisses people off and he is unstable

So 1 month makes up for 3 months of crappines?
