The City, VA to CA
For all the kind words and excitement concerning my brother. My mother texted me this morning saying that she actually came on CF and read some of the posts about him and it touched her dearly that people that we don't even know would care so much.

After talking to Money last night I can tell that he's finally settling down completely and feels more confident about what he's here to do. Its always tough coming in to a team that has a pretty much set depth chart at the position that you play. I remember when I first started saying that I though Money would be one of the top WR's this season and people on here were in total shock that I said it. He's a hard worker. A humble guy. And he loves the game. He's made mistakes in the past and now learned from them. He also likes the fact that magazines and reporters think so lowly of our team. Its a chance to prove what hard work can do!

We totally thank God for the opportunity that he has been given at ISU, I am confident that when his time comes he will give the fans what they came to see...and not for the glory of himself. But for the pride of being a Cyclone!

Excited to see him in action!

One word of advice. IF Money is everything we all hope he is on the FB field, please help keep him grounded and on the proper path. You seem like a great brother and I hope you and your family continue to help Money keep things in perspective. I want him to keep being as hungry as he is even if he finds instant celebrity on campus or possible conference/natl accolades. It's that type of attitude that will fulfill his ultimate goals.

Appreciate everything you have shared and look forward to further posts from you!

From all that I have read and the little bit of research that I have done, I am really excited to see him play.

On my behalf, as well as other cyclone fans, thank him for choosing Iowa State to play football.

I think Money's gonna be huge for the Cyclones and I'm very grateful that he has chosen Iowa State to complete his college career. I look forward to making the trip to Arrowhead Stadium (and hopefully a home game in Iowa) and watching Money light it up!

Along with that I just want to say that I appreciate your incite and glad that both you and your mom hang out here (hopefully we can coax her into posting sometime ).

Bottom line, no matter what some of the "experts" on here say, every ISU fan on here wants him to succeed. About the only people on here who wouldn't want to see him succeed are the fans of other teams, especially those teams that ISU plays.

I hope he has a great career at ISU, and gets everything he wants out of the experience.

I really like this quote. Everyone is completely overlooking ISU.

Considering Money is a new incoming Juco, most of he nation/big 12 doesn't even know his name. Great opportunity to surprise the conference. Hope he turns out to be a phenom like Seneca Wallace.

The City - I'm curious, and I've most likely missed your explanation on this before - but did you follow your brother to ISU as a student? Or did you already live here? Etc.

Just curious, and enjoy your updates.

Can he play defense too? We could use some speed/athletic ability there. Although, if he could turn himself into a big, fast defensive end with a strong hatred for any and all quarterbacks - that would be the ultimate dream.

just don't let mother visit any message boards if he has a bad game. as i have experienced being a message board reader/poster on a number of sites for the past decade, that praise turns sour as soon as a player isn't matching the hype or invented expectations.

just remember to take anything said on these boards with a grain of salt. this is the place for angry fans to spew their frustration as well as a place for the happy fan to bask in the glory of ISU (and it's players). historically the former has prevailed.

all that said, thanks for posting here we all enjoy chatting with someone so close to the program

I think that before too terribly long, we're going to be the ones saying "Thank you", to Money, your mom, and the rest of your family...and thanks for your time here.

Reynolds moving up the depth chart
Herman said junior college transfer Darius Reynolds is moving up the depth chart at wide receiver and that the converted quarterback is one of the three or four best receivers thus far through camp.

“He is a lot more physical of a player than I think any of us on offense thought he would be,” Herman said. “The light has kind of gone on offensively for him”

city, we sincerely love your comments on money. i hope that money becomes an all america receiver this year and has some great success in taking some kickoffs to the bank and is able to take a few punts to the bank.....your mom must have done a good job raising you fellows.

i would love to see the "kidd" follow money's footsteps to iowa state and add to our wide receiver corp when he graduates from junior college.

city i would like to know more about your musical talents.do you have a
gospel group and are you playing around any locations in the country. would love to see you and your musicians perform.

huh? He could well be a top playmaker with hands that "snatch the ball out of the air."
