This question was bugging me last night, so I decided to share the burden. Vikings fans/haters and anyone in general let me know what you think.

Sorry for the confusion, this is for next season.

I don't think the Farve thing is dead. He's just trying to wiggle his way out of a chunk of training camp and exhibition games.

John David (What's Another Name For Pirates' Treasure) Booty

Did the poll creator make this up or is this an actual Bermanism?

I think to start the season it will be Sage, but have a feeling they will be working to sign somebody soon to take it over. I am with some others in thinking that the Favre thing isn't dead. I think they just came to an agreement for him to say no right now to keep the media quiet until he's really ready to decide. As for Vick, I'm just not sure a place in the conservative midwest is where he'll land. If it's not bad enough the team that signs him will have to deal w/PETA, the fanbase of some Midwest teams may be a little upset about signing him also.

It's 2010, not 2009.

And the Vick thing was just a joke for reaction... :)

I figured you were joking as I'm sure you know what kind of heat they would get from the fan base and others in the city if they signed him. I was mainly stating my thoughts b/c I've heard way too many people here at work and other places talk about him becoming a Viking. I'm not a Viking fan so could care less if he does or not, I just don't think they want to deal with the PR side of things if they sign him.

Yeah, we had this conversation in another thread...I don't think it's highly likely.

I want Sage to get a shot, but for some reason I think it will be Jackson. The coach seems to have an unhealthy love of TJack. Everyone else sees that he sucks, but the team can't seem to see it.

I am still wondering how many people actual realize it's about 2010 and not 2009.

In 2009, there is no better option. In 2010, that isn't the case yet.
