MLB: 15 innings later

Absolutely CRAZY game.

1-0 LA in the ninth, Rasmus ties it up with 2 outs off Broxton.

2-1 LA in the 11th, Ludwick ties it up with 1 out off Troncoso.

2-2 in the 15th, Pujols takes care of bid'ness.

Absolutely insane game.

indeed very crazy i was pretty proud of the bullpen not giving it up hawksworth had some good pitching.

Ohh man no doubt about that.

Blake Hawksworth was EXCELLENT tonight. He hit spots REAL well, and had some good movement as well. Great job, great TEAM win tonight.

This is definitely a win we "stole" from LA. You gotta have those, and this was one. Big time performance by the club tonight.

Not sure I would have pitched to Pujols with a base open. Guy on 2nd vs 3rd with 2 outs doesn't make much difference.

Without Holliday they probably would have walked him and the game might have continued.... The added protection is starting to pay off

Almost made me want to cheer 'Go Hawk' but I refrained. 'Go Blake' worked much better

After even thinking of saying something so bad, I prayed my rosary of ISU fight songs for forgivenss.
1 Bells of Iowa State, 10 Fight Songs, 1 Bells of Iowa State, 10 fight songs... etc....

Don't forget Ludwick hosing Manny out at the plate. Great throw; one hop strike to Yaddy.

That was a great throw - but should have been Pierre on the base path at that time. In any case, Dodger pitching couldn't get the Cards out when it had to. In some respects, LA gave it away - but just as much, StL took it.

I still don't understand why Kershaw wasn't allowed to finish. He pitched a great game and deserved the opportunity. Broxton is a wild man, especially on the road.

I'd still rather take my chances with Holliday vs. Pujols. Sets up a force at home too.
