He was pulled from a game tonight, non injury related... Most likely part of a package deal. I think a change of scenery could do him alot of good.

Good luck to him...

He was with Sea-Tac wasn't he? If so, they have a thing for Iowans. A kid from my HS is up there right now I believe.

Yeah, but he was behind two catchers that are already locked up, one who ownership really likes and another that the manager really likes...

Speaking of Marshalltown baseball players, has anyone seen this Jimmy Six kid play? I haven't yet and wondering if all the hype around here is just home-town cooking?

I've been to 75% of the Marshalltown Baseball games, so I'm probably biased, but Jimmy Six is a legitimate pitcher. He can pitch a good 1st game in a double-header and he is good enough to pitch relief and close the 2nd.

Jeff Clement was given the catcher's role for the Mariners last year during thier horrendous season. He did well at the position but the main goal was that other teams would eventually want him. Jeff gave me my first autograph as a high school player, so I am a fan of whatever team he goes to.... (please dont go to the Cubs, Jeff...) and it is fun to embrace a hometown hero in the majors.

Thanks. Going to the game today?
