I've had one of the worst days of my life. What keeps me going? The love and the hope of Cyclone football. Not too much longer.

Lord knows I could use a pickmeup here soon!

One thing about those bad days is that they make you appreciate the good ones more. Keep your chin up, keep working hard, and things will look up sooner or later.:smile:
 
keep up the good fight brother!!, we all have crappy days but when you know we have only 39 days till kick off it has to cheer you up :yes:
 
Ya know we haven't had a lot of good days as Cyclone fans but when they do happen they're that much sweeter.

I don't know if I've ever had a better feeling pumping my fist walking out of Jack Trice after the Mizzou game in 06 or after beating Iowa in 07.

I could use a good day or two this fall!

We will get them, Have the Faith and if neccesary drink the Kool-aid.. hell it tastes good at least :wink:
 
I have one year left in school, but you know what, I will be there if we're 0-12 or 12-0. There's a spirit here that can't be beaten.

This place will always be home no matter where I'm at.
 
Gotta love that feeling when, for example, we force a pick during a football game and take it back. Lamarcus Hicks in 05.....it's one of the few settings where you can grab someone you dont know, shake the **** outta them, yell in their face, and they'll do the same back.
 
Ya trust me I Know what thats like I had to witness the 2 yrs where we shoulda been in the Big 12 title game while I was in school

But I still have season tickets to this day i just moved to the endzone
 
dude, come on, fire it up. you are on campus. there are 30 of us dying to be you right now. get it going, find some chickies and get it on. the rest of us have let our time pass. do it for us. do it for me. and by it i mean her.
 
Going to the Shrine Bowl was a bad idea. It's just going to make these last 40 days seem like an eternity. By the way the field looks immaculate.
 
I was a freshman at ISU the year that Jim Meyers came to Ames, bringing high hopes with him. While there were some good years in the late 70s, it was 2000 when it seemed we had really arrived. I remember thinking at the time it would be awful to wait another 43 years to experience the highs of that year. If we get a few breaks, next year could be it. Hang in there Detasseler!

In college and you have had "one of the worst days of your life"? Wait until you venture out into the real world...you will likely be longing for the worst days in college. I obviously don't know what you are going through but stay positive!
