Why does this guy still have a roster spot and with that why does he still get to play? I would rather have Blanco playing than him, he is worthless and was a stupid trade!

For the same reason Hoffpauer and Fox don't get enough at bats and Scales was sent back down to Iowa. Lou is a huge proponent of playing guys with big league experience. Obviously it doesn't matter that you're experience has been a horrible one your whole career as long as you can still lay claim to having played in the big leagues!

IMO, this all stems back to getting rid of DeRosa. Yeah he is injured now but if they had resigned him they wouldn't have to play **** players like Baker, or Blanco for that matter.
