I know its a few months away but I already have about 8 guys lined up to head down to KU and pay them a little Cyclone visit on their homecoming!

Those fans might be some of the most annoying fans in the Big XII and it would make my day to see their faces after a Cyclone victory!

Anyone else going down?

I doubt will have much of a turnout for that game. We play at Arrowhead the week before, so I don't if our fan base is going to want to make a similar trip two weeks in a row.

I could be talked into it though.

Scalpers is right.....no way scalpers would go over 30 (maybe even 25)

It does depend on how we do in our games before though.....there is a strong chance we go down to Lawrence undefeated....but we all know how that worked out with our non-conference schedule with basketball last year

Last time I went to KU I watched us **** away the north title for the second year in a row. I don't know if I have the heart to go back.

KU fans are no where close to annoying for FB in my opinion. Basketball is a different story though but most of their fans are well aware of how bad they used to suck and for the most part seem pretty humble because of their past. In fact every time I've been there they crack just as many fat jokes about their coach as we do but they do love him down there.

I went 2 years ago but I also went in 2003 for the last game and they were 1 win away from being bowl eligible. It was 65 degrees in November with a light mist and the stadium wasn't even 1/2 full. I asked a guy where everyone was at because for KU this was a big game to become bowl eligble and he said no one there cared about FB, its a BB school and always will be. In 2007 the best sign I saw was "KU Football: a tradition since 2007" so I do think their FB fans are well aware that they still have a ways to go to get the respect as a legit upper tier team in the Big 12.

"A ways to go" is an understatement. Most of us know that during the Allen years we had one of the worst D1 teams in the country and that wasn't very long ago. Mangino has made us competitive and that's all I've asked for. We have a long way to go to get to the upper tier of this league. But currently that seat is only occupied by South teams. Mangino has brought in better recruiting classes every year and less jucos to the point where we only have a couple jucos in the class. So he seems to be really building something but I think it will always be tough for schools that don't have those 80,000+ stadiums to compete with those that do. The one thing he has going for him is money. KU has done a really good job raising money to the point that they are in the top 1/3 of the conference. Plus they sold out all their games last year and will probably do the same this year. So the interest is coming around, but it's a slow process because a lot of KU fans are spoiled basketball fans

Even if this were accurate (no), it adds up to a 36% chance we are undefeated heading into Lawrence. "Strong chance" implies something at least over a 50% chance.

I didn't think the KU fans were bad at all when I was there two years ago. If anything, the lady sitting next to me asked if we could just get along for the game and be friendly, like she was expecting me to punch her if we scored a TD or something.

It's too bad we couldn't plant that flag at the 50 yard line......

How about this:

North Dakota State - 99% Win
Kent State - 75% Win (remember this is on the road)
Iowa - 50% Win
Army - 90% Win
KSU - 50% Win

I could easily see us 4-1 or 3-2. I'd love 5-0, but you can't say there's a strong possibility of anything in regards to our football program. We won exactly 0 conference games last year, and I think it's been since 2005 that we've won a game away from home...
