A buddy of mine hails from a huge Hawkeye family, but made the right decision when it came time to pick a school - thus attended Iowa State and is now a huge fan.

Nope, went into the military, didn't have the money for college. I fail to see how that matters on whether or not it would have been a "bad" decision.

Heh, you got me. But to clarify, he was attending ISU for engineering. That IS the right decision, had it been medical or liberal arts, it probably wouldn't have been. But for the context of the image at hand, its all in good fun and a great rivalry.
