Anybody else go to the games tonight? I saw Gilstrap made some big plays to help his team win after they were almost dead at the end of regulation and OT.

Went for a very short period of time tonight and only saw about half of the first game.

Gilstrap had some nice boards and a nice wrap-around layup. After watching him play in 3 different CCL games, I still don't think I've seen him hit an outside shot. Hopefully that comes along. He played hard then got winded quickly. I like his aggressiveness on the glass and with the ball.

Dendy--not there tonight.

Buckley--got to the rim a lot but wasn't able to finish. Had some nice passes. Left his feet a lot on defense and that got him in trouble.

Pomlee--was pretty active tonight. He fought well for boards and made some aggressive offensive moves, but had difficulties finishing. Overall I was encouraged by his motor.

For you Drake fans, Templeton was there and he played pretty scrappy and made some shots. He was guarded by Alex White. Alex didn't do anything spectacular.

Before the game they handed out a sheet with the league leaders. I realize these stats are pretty much worthless, but they are fun to look at:

Points:
Gilstrap 30.3 ppg
Garrett 29.5
Josh Young 19.8
Ryan Wedel 19.8
AJ Calvin 19.8

Rebounds
Heemskerk 13.8
Dendy 9.0
Calvin 8.8
Schneiderman 8.5
JVB 7.8
Hamilton 7.3

Assists
Ryan Sears 6.8
Garrett 6.3
Young 5.0
Colvin 4.8
Buckley 4.5

Templeton hit the game winning shot with about 5 sec left by tipping in a missed Gilstrap free throw. That was a fun game to watch. I think Gilstrap stole the ball with about 10 sec left in OT, and then Sears made a boneheaded foul by running into him trying to get the ball back. Sears knocked him over and Gilstrap was a little gimpy getting back up, but he hit the first free throw to cut the lead to 1, and then missed the second to set the stage for Templeton.
