Tony La Russa sues Twitter over St. Louis Cardinals manager fake page - ESPN

Not saying that whoever did this is not a scum, but does La Russa really think he will win this suit? How in god's name is Twitter supposed to police a large social networking site?

I just think La Russa is wasting his time. This will get thrown out of court pretty fast, IMO. There is no way Twitter can monitor this to make sure things like this don't happen. It is near impossible. Find whoever made the fake account and go after him/her.

Question is, did he ever voice this displeasure to Twitter? Did he do anything about it? Did he attempt to inform them that this account was not him?

Or did he go straight to lawsuit in order to get paid? Because that's all this is about.
