Capital City League?

Has anybody heard anything about the Capital City League this summer? I know it usually starts some time in June. I've talked to several other Drake fans, and nobody has heard anything yet.

Amen to that!! I loved Center Court!! Hurl would usually drop in like 19 3-pointers and Donnell Bivens had some crazy dunks! Yeah, those were the good 'ol days--very entertaining!!

I'm looking forward to this this summer. Definitely will check it out once or twice, mostly to see Oliver. For some reason I feel great about that kid and if he's as athletic as they say he'll be a treat to watch in the CCL.

As we have said time and time again, he is NOT a lock for the lottery, let alone the #1 overall pick. Oh wait, wrong draft. Sorry.

So brackins, buckley, Lucca, Christopherson, and Pomlee are all not playing in the league. I am glad that some of the good ex-drake players are playing so there is some better competition for the ISU players to play against.

I know why Brackins & Lucca aren't playing, but does anyone know why Christopherson, Buckley & Pomlee aren't playing?

Colvin and Oliver will be playing with Barnes. If Barnes actually makes it to more than a couple of games maybe some chemistry can develop.
