KSU lawsuit

There are a couple of head scratchers here. 1) Why are the payments scheduled to start in 2015? 2) How was this going to be paid if the only guy that knew about it was gone?

I know a lot of times in these situations, a booster will take the hit for the school and shell out some cash behind the scenes. This is pretty surprising and I think KState may have a case against not paying it.

So is this Pursuit of Perfection just a front to give Prince more money or is there something else that they are expected to get paid for?

810 am out of KC is talking about this. Calling it outright stealing $ from KSU by the agent of Prince and the AD.

It's more of a shakedown.

Prince/Attorney: Ok, you gonna fire me? I'll have Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, NAACP in here so fast you won't know what hit you. Funnel some money to my foundation and it'll go away

I am sitting here wondering what Prince has on Bob Krause. It must be pretty good for Krause to commit professional suicide. Krause's father in law just happens to be one of KSUs largest donors.

Maybe they could use some of that money to make a new video...whenever K-State is talked about I must post this:

Wow!!! I have never seen that video before. Probably one of the worst promotions I have ever witnessed in my life. IF I were a K-State fan that video would have forced me to never show my face again at a football game out of shame. There really are no words for just how bad that was.

I just shake my head at all the things that have gone on at KSU over the last several years.

I actually got to spend some time with Jon Wefald, KSU president, one day years ago. It was clear to me right then that he was one of the few university presidents who was VERY interested in doing what he could to help their athletic department.

However, when you look at what KSU has done over the years to build up its football and basketball programs, it's like they've sold their soul. They brought in Snyder and he immediately filled their schedule with cupcakes and their roster with jucos. More recently, they welcomed a basketball coach with a dirty reputation (Huggins) and then hired his head assistant who also had a questionable reputation after Huggins bolted.

On one hand, I have to give credit to KSU for caring enough about their athletic programs to take bold steps. However, instead of trying to build a program with a solid foundation, they've historically tried to take shortcuts. Even though KSU has had recent success in football and basketball, I prefer ISU's philosophy.
