Cael Sanderson Offered PSU Job

Seriously, I cannot see how Cael would have issues with the current administration that:
Supported him through a 159-0 collegiate record
Gave him a assistant job to support his family while training to compete for the Olympics
Then gave him prior to probably being ready the HC job at one of the most prestigious wrestling programs in the nation
Made him the highest paid coach in his sport
Allowed him to hire his staff, including his own brother
We allowed Cael every luxury ISU can afford and, if true, it's not enough? Then what is, someone tell me what the AD Dept. isn't doing for this guy?

Let me get this straight:
1) Not long ago, people were asking if Cael had the intensity to take us to the next level.
2) Now that he's offered another job (and who wouldn't offer the guy a job?), people freak out and meltdown, which has somehow put Palmer and I into a Raccoon River suicide pact?

Moods are swinging now just like the two girls we suspended at work tonight. (Apparently, we frown on altercations in the ladies' room.)

I never said anything about changing coaches, I couldn't have been any more clear in my post.
 
We're talking about wrestling here right? I mean, wrestling? Look, I love that ISU has a great tradition in the sport. I watch the Iowa match every year on PBS, I get into it, I watch the national championships, I love that.

But folks, we're talking about our wrestling coach. If we dropped the sport completly how many would really miss it? I mean really? Cael has yet to even beat Iowa, even once. What is he like 0-3 against them. You kind of have to at least beat them every once in a while for me to give a crap whether you stay or go. Frankly, I love Cael and I will be sad if he leaves but this is nowhere near meltdown news.

We'll be alright. We've won national titles before without coaches that were undefeated in college. Might set us back a couple years, but we'll be alright.

Well, everybody has a problem with JP not getting along with Cael...I'm good with firing the JP if you guys can guarantee me that the new AD gets along with all the other coaches. But you can't...

Link? I have not seen a quote from Paul on this...must have missed it.

Note - not necessarily in favor of whacking our AD. I just want all this crap to stop - whatever that takes.

The correct word is "rebuilding."

Can we just get over the Jamie Pollard hate? Like he's responsible for these people wanting to take better jobs. Every hire he's made has been lauded by the sports community at ISU for being a "great catch" - when you catch someone on their way up, there's bound to be people moving on to bigger jobs.

You mean if the new AD was totally beholden to your boy like this one is? That would be tough to pass up.

Yes that is possible, but every time a new AD is hired it does not result in the FB/BB coach being fired.
