Holy crap! Reed Johnson just robbed Fielder of a grand slam by leaping up the right field wall to grab the ball as it drops behind the fence!! Incredible catch

Second best one I can remember in Miller Park....Hunter robbing Bonds in the All Star Game was just a tick better.

Excellent catch. Prince even tipped his helmet to him.

You can actually use the line from Major League.....he hit it too high.

Had Reed not had to come in for Bradley a few innings ago pretty sure that Bradley doesn't make that play. Ironic how those things work out

It had nothing to do with it. He just happens to be one of the most erratic pitchers in all of baseball.

That's what went through my head too. Reed's the only Cubs outfielder that could make that play. Bradley probably wouldn't have gotten to the wall by the time the ball landed.

Johnson did turn into it to make sure that's where he was hit, but yeah, it was right at that level.

Still, who hits a guy for a great defensive play? Especially when he doesn't showboat about it, just gathers his feet and gets it back to the infield.

I don't really think it was intentional, as Julio was all over the place before then. The timing was more than odd, and the Brewer fans giving Julio a standing ovation was weird.

yes

don't know if anyone noticed, but Fielder tipped his cap to Johnson as he headed into the dugout- this shot wasn't called.

Even Cecil's fat son knows a great play when he sees it. Personally, I had just figured that Lou would move Kos-K over to right when CAMB went out. I guess that's why Lou manages the Cubs while I don't.
