Listening to the instant reaction podcast from last night and hearing CW share his love for Greg McDermott got me to thinking, how many people does this man love?

Texted some buddies and they said they had noticed this too. We worked together to create a list of people we've heard Chris express his love for.

Drake Basketball

I know many of you don't give a crap about Drake basketball, and that's fine. But I've been to most of their games this season and honestly, they are pretty damn entertaining. A team with a new coach and cobbled together roster that lost their best player halfway thru the season is now in first place in the Valley with a few games left before the tournament. I don't know where they will wind up, but should get a NIT bid at worst. There is one home game left, next Wednesday, the 27th. The tickets are inexpensive, the beer is cold and they have plenty of chunky cheerleaders (if that's your thing). Check them out, I think DeVries and Woodley are going to get this program to the point where they are very competitive.

For this topic we aren't looking for jock jams or pump up songs used at ball games unless the song mentions a sport or athlete. Songs that sports teams use that mention their team i.e. Go Cubs Go are allowed.

FS: ISU Season Tix to various games (4 Seats and B5 Parking)

I have a number of games that I will not make it to this year. If you are interested in the following games, let me know and we can discuss price. I have 4 seats and a B5 parking pass. Seats are 3rd row balcony in the SW corner (section M; aisle seats). Seats are one step up from the balcony entrance. Easy in/ easy out. Really close to bathrooms and concessions.

What was the biggest game in ISU's history

I think Saturday's game is the biggest game we've had. VERY few people agree so my questions:

What was the biggest game.
What was the result of that game.
What impact did it have on the trajectory of our program over time.

We have had more than a few "statement" games that we've either crapped the bed, or failed to capitalize. I think Saturday could be a defining moment in the CMC era with a win. Nationally televised game. Multi-hour lead-up for that national audience. Ranked opponent and our bitter rival. We lose and we've merely lost a game. We win and large swaths of the college football public, and recruitable athletes, and national media take notice and we get lots of publicity.
