Minneapolis Game Watch

I'll be up in Minneapolis for a wedding reception and am looking to watch the game with some fellow Cyclone fans. I'm the only one in my family skipping the wedding to watch the game.

Could someone help with details on a game watch or a cyclone friendly bar I could watch the game at? I'm not familiar with the area we will be staying: East Bethel.

Thanks guys

NFL: ***Official Week Five Thread***

Feels like the season is flying by. Rams @ Seahawks tonight. The forecast is calling for rain and a chance for storms so this could be a late one if there are any weather delays. It's one of a handful of good games on the schedule:

TB @ NO - Are the Bucs for real or was hanging 55 on the Rams just a fluke?
BAL @ PIT - The AFC North might still be a three team race if the Steelers can pull this one off.
GB @ DAL - Playoff preview?
IND @ KC - Tune in if you like offense. I think both teams score over 30. Depending on who sits out with injuries for the Colts I think the Chiefs could break 50.
CLE @ SF - Yet another primetime game for the Browns - their third in five weeks. Tricky game at SF where the Niners might be quietly turning the corner.

Fennelly media day press conference

Notes from various people on twitter:

If season started today, starters would be Scott (duh), Joens (duh), Wise (duh), Camber (I wonder if we might see a breakout year from her), and PG by committee. Espenmiller-McGraw might actually be the starter at PG except she's been fighting the flu recently. Apparently she's been doing really well in practice.

Fennelly specifically mentioned Jade Thurmon as someone who has been practicing great so far. This team has a completely different look if she's playing.

Bob Lazar

I searched and didn't find a thread on this which I find amazing. I had heard about the doc on Netflix and then saw that he was on with Rogan so I listened to it. Can't wait to watch the doc now and I'm sure once I have some free time I'm going to jump down a rabbit hole for what could be days. Any thoughts? From the little I've looked so far, this stuff seems really hard to debunk as there are accounts backing up a lot of what he's saying or at least backing up that he was there.

Also, if this stuff is true, a space force is a complete waste of time. We're done for.

That is, of course, unless we have technology far beyond what we know about.

Why was Brock still in the game for the last two possessions?

Spoiler alert:
This is NOT a thread about Re’al Mitchell’s playing time.

I am respectfully wondering why Brock was still in the game when the game went to 49-24 with several minutes and two (I believe) possessions remaining for our offense?

CMC is the best coach we’ve ever had in my 40 years of watching Cyclone Football- so I’m not here to second guess CMC. However, I don’t want to see Brock get hurt after the game was well in hand. I thought Re’al should’ve been the QB at this point to protect Brock and to give Re’al some valuable reps.

New Grain Science Center and Mill

A few might be interested so I thought I’d share a cool little article as it supports and bolsters Iowa States number one ranked and Ag and Biosystems Engineering Department.

It sounds like ISU just broke ground on a 21.5 million Grain Science Center and Feed Mill.
