Onside Kick

i was watching the replay tonight. I highly recommend going back and rewatching the hit Soehner put on their jump ball guy near the sideline on Tech’s onside kick in Q4. Not too often you see somebody 6.5’+ with their feet over their head. Wow!

I still don’t know what happened to Mike Rose about that time.

MLB: Iowa State alum MLB umpire Eric Cooper dies at age 52

Saw this in the news. Commissioner Manfred posted this along with the Des Moines Register. He had a blood clot and it seemed he was doing better but then took a turn for the worse.

He just did the ALDS yankees twins series.

Top 25 results

Should have a decent chance to move back into the Top 25.

Losers in the Top 25 this week:

#6 Wisconsin lost to Illinois (probably drop to 10-15)
#16 Michigan lost to #7 Penn State (probably drop to around 20)
#22 Missouri lost to Vanderbilt (will drop out)
#25 Washington lost to #12 Oregon (played them real close but will still drop out)
#14 Boise State currently losing to 2-4 BYU (if they lose this they should drop out, BYU is not good).

Dependent how harshly the voters treat Washington and potentially Boise State ISU should be in. Cal, Temple and Tulane also were in the 26-30 range and lost. Wake and Virginia won.

O-Line Complimented

Joe Yeager writes for Tech on 247 Sports, wrote this after yesterday's game:
"Outside of Oklahoma, this was the best offensive line Tech has seen this season."
So that would include Arizona, Okie State and Baylor that they have played previously. He was frustrated that they didn't sack Purdy at all yesterday.

I don't know, maybe our line is better this year than what we amateurs think we see. I did notice some times yesterday when Hall would go out around the edge and there was no one there. It looked like the blocking did that on purpose.

FS: SOLD - 4 - OSU SEZ Club Tickets

I am looking to sell my 4 SEZ Club tickets for the Oklahoma State game. As you probably know the game kicks at 2:30, and should be a great environment for Homecoming. These seats are near the top of Section 20 and really close to the aisle for quick access to the climate controlled area, restrooms and concessions.

I will sell in pairs if you want.

Section 20, Row 39, Seat 17-20

$200 a ticket.

For Sale - Okie State tickets - $30 each

I have two mobile tickets together. If you are not familiar with mobile tickets, I get texted seat locations the day before the game. I can forward these tickets to an email address. I've been in section O and section 11 so far this year. I'm just looking to recover the cost of those tickets. This is a great option for what could be a great games. I don't check this account much, so text me if you are interested at 614-832-8469. I can accept payment by PayPal.

2020 O-Line

I know that this is a bit premature since ISU is in the middle of conference play, but I have a question about the 2020 O-Line.

We graduate 4 seniors this year (JGJ, Meeker, Knipfel and Olson) and I’m wondering who the line will be for next year.

Newell and Downing are definitely locks. Ramos, especially how he looked in the few plays yesterday, is basically a lock, too. I’m guessing Ramos and Downing play on the left side.

Who plays on the right? I’m guessing Hudson at guard, but I have no idea about tackle. What do you guys think?
