i finally remembered to ask, how do people listen to the game in their earbuds during the game, which station,etc? My Sirius is always very delayed so that doesn’t work. TIA

I stopped into my local Casey’s in Grimes for the first time in a week. Got a cup of joe. All new cups. Nice. High quality stuff. Ooh, new signs for the coffee. Swanky. Wait....all new flavors? They changed the flavors? The Classic is NOT THE CLASSIC BREW!!!! It’s all bitter and ‘look at me’ now. What the ****? I go to Casey’s for the cheap and weak coffee. I check the website and it says this...

Coffee and the HyVee fuel saver was the only reason I used Casey’s. Right across the street from my Casey’s is a new Kwikstar. And they’re putting up another KS on the other side of my hood. Goodbye Casey’s, I’ll miss you.

Pants: Probably less. CF traffic would crash. As much as GTO and I may try to keep things going here, we’re only two mere mortals (technically GTO is half immortal, but does that really mean much when the other half is totally mortal?)
JSB: Well, we would still have the Politics boards, so there would be plenty of psycho in that.
GTO: I actually enjoy the off-topic threads as well as the meltdown threads quite a bit, so I would be okay with that. My only worry is that then this site could potentially become Uniform Fanatic. By the way, did you say I’m half immoral or immortal?

Pants: This was creepy. He guessed it immediately. I was shocked by it. Honestly, probably just thought of the most disgusting thing ever made and assumed no one actually ever drank it.
JSB: I’m just glad that someone cops to drinking pop at all anymore. I love Diet Pepsi. I can’t quit it even if I only drink a can a day. But my morning drink is iced, black coffee.
GTO: Is mdk2isu a Gunner alt? Has to be, right?

I believe that iowa state will win out and be 8-4 for the season . Texas is very winnable , Kansas is well kansas, and K State is very up and down. Even though the losses have been close to be 8-4 for three years in a row is a great accomplishment. Anyone else have a comment?

We bought some SEZ seats for this weekend.. And sure enough we get by far the best tickets we have through mobile pass. I think 40 each is good price for the location given that they are mobile pass. PM if interested, I can send screenshot of the bar code.

From email just received about Saturday's game:

• • Due to recent snowfall in the Ames area, the Iowa State Athletics Department has announced that all grass lots surrounding MidAmerican Energy Field at Jack Trice Stadium are closed for Saturday's game vs. Texas.
  • Patrons with G7 parking passes will be re-routed to the paved lots at Vet Med.
  • There will be NO public parking for cars or RVs at Vet Med.
  • General public parking will be available on campus, and we suggest parking at the Memorial Union parking ramp or Gerdin Business Building East Parking Deck. Please be sure to follow posted regulations at all campus parking lots. A campus parking map can be found here.
  • Public parking for RVs will be directed to the Jeff and Deb Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center (2508 Mortensen Rd). The Iowa State Block and Bridle Club will be operating parking in this lot. RV parking will be $40, and car parking will be $20. The lot will be available for RVs from 5:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. on Friday and will reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday for all vehicles. All RVs will need to be out of the lot by 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. If you have questions about parking in this lot you can contact the Block and Bridle Club at 712-330-2727.
  • Fans are also encouraged to check the Cy-Ride website for other parking and transit options. A map of the CyRide football gameday bus route can be found here.

I have four tickets for the upcoming Texas game. Great seats, close to concessions and restrooms. Row 3, aisle seats are only a step up from the section entrance. Easy in, easy out.
