Halftime Shows & Forest at JTS

Does anyone know what happened to the halftime shows? We used to have one every game. For the past season or two it seems like we only have about 3 a season. I assume we are saving the money and tacking it on to Campbell's salary?

Also while I'm here, does anyone know what the deal is with the forest we are growing on the west side of Jack Trice? The grass is about 6 feet long on the hills behind the concessions. It looks pretty awful. I imagine the Reimans had that included in the contract when they donated the money for the SEZ?

*** 2019 Basketball Tip-Off Party ... Oct. 17 ***

Just a heads up that our annual men's basketball tip off party with the coaches will take place on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the District Venue in Ankeny, which is attached to Whiskey River.

7 p.m. start.

Will have a program to preview the season where fans can ask questions. Following the program, you guys are welcome to talk with the special guests, take pictures, etc.

This event will be family friendly so bring the kids!

A friend of mine showed me this from a youth wrestling match.

Wow.

I believe Austin Scranton the boy who wrestles in blue is not only a youth state champion but also national champion. He has only lost a handful of times in his life. He takes the L here.

There is a lot of negativity in the world. This shows there is humanity.

Anyone have it? I have been kicking around switching to it as it would likely be a little cheaper but I am worried about coverage. We would also have to buy new phones as we currently have iPhones and it doesn't work as seamlessly with those.

I have 4 seats that were spoken for until this morning. They are in Section 241, row 12. I have had them on the ticketmaster site this morning and thought putting a note here might be a good idea as well. I have them listed at $45 each right now on the site, but here you can shoot offers more easily here (they really ought to do that on TM in my opinion.)

If you only need 2, I might go ahead and split them, let me know if you'd like to do that as well.

I am still going to the game, just on a friends' tix, so I can deliver them in person.

Anyway, you can PM me with an offer and if it works out, we can make arrangements for tonight.

Thanks to @MeanDean for another great thread idea! I'm always grateful when others throw me ideas!

What consumables do you use well above an average amount? And, conversely, which do you consume well below an average amount?

For example - I no longer have any children in diapers, but diaper wipes are the secret that parents have been keeping for decades. After discovering how multifunctional they are, I'll never be without them. Also, commas.

According to Yahoo, there is a settlement in the works that will allow Harvey Weinstein - sexual predator - to not only get by with paying his victims a pittance, but also not admitting any wrongdoing whatsoever. Of the $25 million settlement proposed, $12 million goes to his lawyers.....payment for their compliance in covering up this bag of ****.

I'm all for moving on, but to totally ignore the damage done to these women is not only shameful but criminal.
