For all of you season ticket holders had a buddy text me about some email we all get (never seen one) that says something about season ticket concession deal. Anyone know what that’s about?

Long shot, but just seeing if anyone had any reserved seats for the match tonight.

I think most of us can agree that this season was a massive disappointment. Barring a miracle run in Kansas City, there likely will be no post-season play for us.

Reasons for optimism:
Solomon Young has taken a step forward. Hopefully he can continue to improve his game in the offseason and go out with a good senior season.

Bolton has shown he can be a good guard. He needs to work on turning it over less, and become a more efficient scorer.

With some experience now, hopefully Grill and Jackson can make some big improvements and become threats from the outside. Conditt has the physical tools to be one of the better big men in the Big 12; hopefully he can play to his potential.

Adding Javan Johnson should help. Has good size at 6'6; did shoot 43% from 3 his freshman year, but it dropped to 35% his sophomore year. Hines recently said on a podcast that he looked good on the offense during a coupe of practices he watched. Hopefully he can get his 3 point shot to over 40% again next year and use his length to help defensively.

Bringing in 4 freshman that have good upside, and good size (three at 6'5, one at 7'0).

Reasons for pessimism:
Tyrese will most likely be playing in the NBA a year from now; not easy to replace a talent like that.

A lot of guys are going to have to make major improvements, and we will need our freshman to make big impacts right away if we want to get back to the NCAA tournament.

Who will play PG? Jaden Walker is a PG, but he'll be a true freshman and an unknown at this point. Not sure I feel great about Bolton or Jackson running the point.



My expectation is always to make the tournament, and I'm not changing that expectation. A lot of things are going to have to go right for this to happen; lets hope they can do it.

The emergency goalie. so wish they had something like this in ever sport. Just a normal fan all the sudden gets to play.

I love watching this years team play with the heart they play with but this team just does not have the point guard that we are used to - starting with stacy then both lindsays, even moody then what middleton gave them last year . next years freshman seems to be loaded with players that can play the point, will lexi start at the point right away and move maggie to off guard? or will the girl from ks ? it seems like bill finally got his dream class that he can use guards the way he wants to .

anyone else have comments. but i still have a funny feeling that this team is still going to the dance.

Anyone else watching this ? Small did not look good . Really not a fan of taking half the starters .

May Madness

How about changing college basketball to a 2nd semester sport with the playoffs starting in May. I believe it can do 3 things to improve the sport.

1- Give the student athlete a semester for studies.

2- Better weather as season moves toward May madness.

3- Possible tailgaiting for games in March and April for schools in the north.

My daughter's AAU volleyball game times got moved around so we won't be able to use our tickets today. So, I have 4 reserved seats to today's (2/23) women's basketball game up for grabs. Free to the first one who wants all 4. Will have to digitally transfer via the isu ticket exchange.

Game time is at 2 pm. Note it is the play for Kay game.. so you can wear pink!

I could also throw in 2 tix to tonight's wrestling match if you want to make a day of it (those are general admission)

I went in to Preferences and checked the "Remove In-State Rivals forums" checkbox and yet I'm still seeing them. Does it just take some time? It's too bad because I like the banter normally, but the obsession with the other side is over-the-top this time of the year.

Possible rule change on transfers for 2020-21. Didn't see this posted and thought maybe deserved it's own thread. Seems limited to those mutually agreed transfers but still might be a big deal for those individuals.

And I am out now since this will likely turn into a hate-Prohm rally and EVERYONE will transfer freakout.

Just finished watching it. Another gem in the 30 for 30 library. Watching the first part took me back to remembering how crazy good a athlete he was. Always going to be one of sports greatest what if's. Shame that he did something so reprehensible like dog-fighting but it a way it seems like getting caught for it was the best thing to happen to him given the people that he associated with.

What time era in all of history would you like to live in, if not the present? You can go before age of men, any place, whatever.
