Supposedly the TX band flew to the game. Expected to use indoor facilities to practice and then perform. Not even enough seats for band to see game and they had to spend the time sitting in the buses.
Apparently ISU didn't know their plans and they just expected to be accommodated.
Anyone else hear about it?
Probably avoided a rather loud reception.

While I love Hufford's confidence and passion , I really wish he hadn't said what he said in public. I'm just afraid that any chance of ISU catching a Texas team that might be vulnerable is now out the window as he said they have "high egos that need to be checked". I'm hoping i am that ISU can pull off a monumental upset Saturday but Im pretty sure Texas is going to be really jacked up now to run up the score.

Anyone watch the test flight/fall/attempted landing just now? I'm shocked they were that close to landing it on the first attempt. Actually made it to the landing pad, but didn't quite stick the landing. First step to Mars.

I'm always struggling to give the family ideas for gifts and while out running I thought about maybe some good Cyclone branded running gear (cold weather tights / wicking shirts / shorts). However, in looking I'm not finding anything that is convincing me it's worth the cost as many of them seem to be more things like basketball shorts or jerseys or just lounging about apparel.

Anyone out there have experience or recommendations for gear I should look at? Brands/descriptions/where purchased would be nice, links even better. TIA.

I'm watching Purdue/Gonzaga and this week has evolved into my favorite annual sports week between college basketball tourneys/games, NFL Thanksgiving and college football Rivalry Week/November Chaos finale.

What are yours?

*I split Super Bowl and NFL Playoffs because imo the playoffs can often be more entertaining than the big game due to weather/home field etc.

**I'm open to add ones I didn't think of.

I watched Dr. Sleep (sequel/companion to The Shining) last night and really enjoyed it, particularly all of the easter eggs and ties to the original Kubrick film. It also reminded me of how much I've hated every Kubrick movie I've ever seen. I'm curious what everyone else thinks of Kubrick.
