Hey, everyone! I'm unable to go to tonight's game. Having Open Heart surgery on the 13th and I'm not allowed to walk or do stairs. ***2023 GB Packers Thread***

Don't know if there is one of these threads already out there or not?

What are fellow Packers fans thoughts so far on Jordan Love? His stats were fine last night, but I didn't think he looked that good honestly. His TD throw was REALLY good IMO, but outside of that, his accuracy wasn't that great, even on completions... throwing high on some, throwing behind guys on some others, etc.

I actually was more impressed with Clifford last night... and feel that he will be a pretty decent option if Love either gets injured or fails miserably. I know it will be Love's job all year most likely though... that's where the investment has been made.

2023 Season Tickets

I received the notification that season ticket renewals are due. My wife and I retired and moved back to Ames in the summer of 2021 and have purchased season tickets to FB, MBB, and WBB the last two years. The FB season tickets next year remain $599 even though the number of games has dropped to 6 from 7. Is this usual? It seems odd since Iowa and Nebraska have recently lowered their season ticket prices and are below ours. They both also have 7 home games. I’ll buy the tickets, but I wondered what others thought about this and whether our pricing is rational.

Looking for a New Mattress

Our mattress is shot and I'm hunting for a new one. I basically don't trust any of the sites that pop up on searches because who the hell knows who's paying them or not so I thought I'd come to the place where I know people know a little something about spending time on a mattress. We aren't trying to spend a fortune and what I've read leads me to believe there's no reason to and I'm looking for peoples experience. It seems like Nectar has gotten really consistent reviews so that definitely interests me. We would possibly be interested in something like Sleep number or Tempurpedic. I'm not real picky on firm or soft as long as there's support. She would like something a little on the softer side and we both want something cool although we kind of intend on getting and Eight Sleep system or something similar in the future if needed. Any feedback or things to avoid is appreciated.

Morgantown, WV Questions

Good morning Cyclones!
With the schedule being released today, my crew is excited to plan our next away game tailgate. Our plan is to go to Morgantown this year and I just had a few questions:
  1. Where does everyone typically stay? From what I am seeing it looks as if the area close (East) to the Monongahela River is the best as it has a few bars (Iron Horse Tavern, etc). I seen a couple VRBO/AirBNB as well as a Marriott in the area that we are scouting but open to other options. Is this not the place to stay? We would rather stay by the bars/restaurants and travel to the stadium on Saturday morning.
  2. What are some must do things in Morgantown?
I probably will have more questions, but we are only 30mins out from the release so I will start with those.

Now that it is a little over 2 months away I am trying to get some details figured out about the ins and outs of attending the tournament. Anybody that has attended an actual tournament day want to give me some tips and tricks to have the most efficient and memorable day possible?

Thanks to @JP4CY for this idea in another thread today. King is all over the map with types of books. Horror. Sci-fi. Religious tones. Drama. Supernatural. Would love to see how people rank their favorites and ones they really don't like. Obviously doesn't have to have read all of his novels...can list a few, just your personal favorite, etc.
