Looking at heading down to tailgate Saturday morning. What time should we get to Ames to get a spot in Haunted Forest, or any of the other first come tailgate lots?

Will be unable to make it to the ISU vs Iowa men's basketball game on December 7th (which I am not stoked about). I have two tickets and a parking pass (which I can mail out asap). Have venmo as well. Tickets are in section 238 row 5 seats 11-12 (end of aisle). Not sure how much these are going for so, shoot me any offers.

Like the title says but if you are building an all time great roster for ISU are there any players you'd take from this years team?

TJ Tampa would be a for sure. A lot of guys that can be all timers but not there yet; Cooper, Brahmer, etc.

I could see an argument for Contreraz or even Perkins. Both guys have been lights out this year but this is probably recency bias. Just nice to not have to worry about the special teams this year.

This will probably be the toughest TexAss team we've played in the past 11 years.
1. Best O-line and D-line they've ever had
2. Actual first round draft pick receivers, multiple
3. Have a CFP berth to play for, they win out, they're probably in.
4. Jonathan Brooks (injured RB) wasn't the starting RB to begin the year, their backup is another 5* stud.
5. Jatavion Sanders (TE) is very very good. Even if we lockdown their WRs, the TE will most likely feast on our extremely young linebackers who consistently find themselves out of position on passing plays.

We've always played them tough and beaten them, but they also usually had a couple losses under their belt when we won.
The team's mentality seems to fall apart when they don't have something on the national stage to play for.
Also they know we've owned them in the past 6 years, they'll get up for this game. Breece lives rent free in their head.

I'm predicting a hard fought game, but ISU loses 31 to 24.

While I love Hufford's confidence and passion , I really wish he hadn't said what he said in public. I'm just afraid that any chance of ISU catching a Texas team that might be vulnerable is now out the window as he said they have "high egos that need to be checked". I'm hoping i am that ISU can pull off a monumental upset Saturday but Im pretty sure Texas is going to be really jacked up now to run up the score.

Just watching the game for the first time tonight. On BYUs successful touchdown drive in the first quarter the BYU QB has a successful run on 3rd and 2. Then the ref with a "c" gives the QB a but slap as he runs back to the huddle. Just seems odd to me. I would think if a player gave a ref a butt slap they would probably be ejected. And just from an optics perspective it looks like that ref is rooting for BYU. Kinda like in that Nebraska vs OU game where the ref did a celebratory motion for Texas before calling a touchdown good. Thoughts?

I was listening to CDub praising Nate, (way too often I have to say). I mean shut up, we don't need to make this a thing for all to notice.

Most of us believe that Nate will get a head coaching job sooner than later I guess, so I started thinking about replacements from the current staff.

Has Jordan Langs or Ryan Clanton been the biggest reasons behind the scenes of the improvements on offense? I mean look at special teams and our RBs, Jordan gets a lot of credit there. But those RBs are starting to get better holes and that credit goes to Ryan.

Taylor Mouser has been amazing coaching the TEs. Especially the rapid improvement from game 1 to where we are now. Of course I'm a bit biased as I consider him a friend.

Obviously the defense has made great improvements and the whole group should be recognized, but I think Tyson Veidt needs to be called out as helping to build that young group into a very serviceable group. I think Bacon has become my favorite.
