Iowa State picked up another commitment to its 2023 recruiting class in Auburn transfer Tobechi Okoli on Sunday.

The 6-foot-5, 272-pound defensive lineman elected to transfer away from Auburn after his redshirt freshman season in 2022.

Okoli appeared in one game for the Tigers during the 2021 season before redshirting and did not see the field in 2022.

Out of high school, Okoli was a top 10 prospect in Missouri and had seven sacks during his senior season.

He will have three years of eligibility when he arrives in Ames.
