Iowa State’s Chase Allen became the first Cyclone to announce his invite to the upcoming NFL Combine on Friday afternoon.

The Missouri native will be heading to Indianapolis the week of March 1 to test and drill for NFL scouts ahead of the draft scheduled for April.

During his time at Iowa State, Allen was a team captain and appeared in 38 games across five years of action in a Cyclone uniform.

In his five seasons, the Nixa, Mo. native corralled 72 receptions and scored six touchdowns for the program including one against Baylor that helped Iowa State qualify for the Big 12 championship game in 2020.

Allen ended his senior season at Iowa State with 284 receiving yards on 26 receptions, helping the Cyclones to the Cheez-It Bowl.
