For the first time since 2016, Iowa State had two players selected in the NBA Draft.

Marial Shayok was taken by the Philadelphia 76ers with the No. 55 pick in the NBA Draft on Thursday, less than 10 picks after Talen Horton-Tucker was selected at No. 46 by the Los Angeles Lakers. They are the first Cyclone duo picked since Georges Niang and Abdel Nader were taken in 2016.

Shayok averaged 18.7 points per game while earning first-team All-Big 12 honors during his one season on the court for the Cyclones. He was also named the Most Outstand Player of the Big 12 Tournament.
