Iowa State has landed a commitment from three-star 2019 wide receiver Nathaniel Beal, a source confirmed to Cyclone Fanatic on Friday. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound prospect’s commitment was first reported by Cyclone Alert‘s Alex Halsted and was later announced by Beal himself on Twitter.

Beal is rated as the No. 803 player in the 2019 class overall and the No. 104 wide receiver. The Houston, Texas native is regarded as the No. 107 player in the Lone Star State.

He chose the Cyclones over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Purdue and a handful of other FBS programs.

Beal is the third wide receiver commitment in the class for Iowa State and the class’ first player from Texas. The Cyclones’ 2019 class is currently regarded as the No. 33 class in the country and No. 5 class in the Big 12.
