WEST DES MOINES — The 2015 YMCA Capital City League playoffs are set to get started tonight at Valley Southwoods gymnasium.

Action will get underway at 5:30 when Jameel McKay and Nick Babb lead the No. 3 seed YMCA up against sixth-seeded Renaissance Granite and Quartz, who is led by Abdel Nader and former Cyclone Daniel Edozie.

There will be a break after the first game for the league’s 3-point shootout and dunk contests (participants are still being finalized), which should start at around 6:30.

In the second first round game, Deonte Burton and Hallice Cooke will lead fourth-seeded Hannah Homes up against Matt Thomas and Nick Noskowiak‘s fifth-seeded Captial Orthopedics.

Top-seeded ADIO, led by Georges Niang and Jordan Ashton, will recieve a first round bye and will play the winner of YMCA and Renaissance Granite and Quartz Sunday night at 4:30.

Monte Morris and Kourtlin Jackson will lead No. 2 seed Phoenix Renewable Resources up against the winner of Hannah Homes and Capital Orthopedics in Sunday night’s second game.

The winners of those games will then play each other in the finals starting at roughly 7:00 p.m. on Sunday night.
