your nfl team

Bills:

I'm happy with the talent of C.J. Spiller, but we didn't really need a RB, unless of course we are trading Lynch, which I assume is the case. The NFL is turning to a 2 headed machine for RB's, so a lineup of Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller could do some serious damage.

We still need to fill some voids in the OL and desperately need a NT.

Ravens - traded out. No WR's to pick and the top CB's were gone. I would like to see them find a way to get Taylor Mays, incase Ed Reed retires or worse case scenario your two safties are Reed and Mays.

Jimmy Clausen fell like a box of rocks, kind of suprised Minnesota didn't grab him. That would have been a system that I think you could stick a rookie in and see success. Although Sage should get first crack at it!

i wonder if we will hear anything about tim tebow this next year?

in all seriousness.. i will be one tuning in to follow his career..

Don't know if you want to follow a guy holding a clip board.

Sorry, I think the kid is way over hyped. He is going to get killed in the NFL, he was able to run kids over in college - now he is going to be facing men.

Eagles fan - I would have rather seen the Eagles get a safety after moving up 11 spots, and giving up two 3rd round picks. But, I'll take Graham. He'll help free up Cole a little, but I don't know if he'll help immediately. They will also have to address the QB situation tomorrow, unless they're planning on making a trade for a vet. I wonder if they'll end up with McCoy or Clausen?

Was also really hoping for Best to drop to the lower 2nd round as projected and snag him up. Leave it to the Lions...

Would have liked a safety as well but they do get the 5th pick in the second round. I am guesssing they will use that pick on a safety. The only safety picked after the Eagles was Thomas from Texas so there is plenty remaining.

Not sure about the Graham pick. We will see but the Eagles always need help on the DL.

Why do they need to address the QB situation? They have Kolb and Vick might need a third but they could always grab some free agent. Otherwise don't spend the $$$ on a 1st or second round QB.

Clausen will still go there. Vikings were smart.

Broncos - I am happy with it. I was hoping they would pick Thomas. As for Tebow, I also had a feeling McD would love him, just a little upset with how much we reached to get him.

His physical attributes may not be the "prime example" of typical NFL QB's, but the kid is a ******* winner. You can't teach that.

Bucs - Took 1B of the DT's in the draft, probably the one that is quicker and fits better in a Tampa 2. Very happy.

with two early 2nd rounders, I'm hoping for Sergio Kindle and Golden Tate

Bills fan aswell. I love CJ, but until Buffalo gets a QB, it doesn't much matter who's in the backfield. Until they get a good QB, they're going to suck. Simple as that.

Bears fan. I love the Jay Cutler pick. Best pick in the draft.

Yeah I agree. Cant wait for those receivers to finally have a good QB throwing to them!

Seriously though, two first round picks and Orton was way too much for the Bears to trade for Cutler. They really could of used the likes of Des Bryant this year...

Steelers fan -
I am completely underwhelmed and disapointed. The Steelers have a lot of need and usually the first round is where you get your playmakers. The Steelers needed DBs, WR, DT, ILB, and probably would have been smart to take a QB. OL was deffinitely a need, but at #18 you need to get a lot of bang for your buck. An OT would have been more worth the money they will pay at #18. They could have taken the second best center in the draft in the second round and used their top pick for a "name" player.

Pouncey better be, hands down, the best center in the draft and make the probowl in a few years or I will be ticked.
Last year they took a 3-4 DE in the firs tround who barely played. I hope they know what their doing. They seem to prefer playing it safe to making any kind of splash.

Niners-Boring draft really. They took a OT and OG. Both good pickups and maybe in the top 3 of their positions. I like the picks, it is just hard to get excited. I still think they need to get a running back and someone to compliment Patrick Willis.

Happy with the Cowboys taking Dez Bryant as long as he keeps his nose clean!!!! Kid's got alot of talent.

Agreed. Now that Jerry has his toy, they can concentrate on their biggest needs.

So Bradford goes #1 (not a foregone conclusion this year) and what is the first thing they talk about on SportsCenter right after the draft. Jesus Christ got drafted in the first round! They could have at least paid lip service to some of the other stories of the draft (for example who went with the #1 pick) before they started the Tebow love fest.

Very poor, ESPN:no:

Here a funny story...

2000 Insight Bowl ISU beats Pitt. One of the players that stands out in my head for Pitt is WR Antonio Bryant. Fast forward to the draft, Dallas drafts him and I buy his jersey Bryant #88. He ends up being a huge bust for the team and the jersey disappears to the depths of my closet. Fast forward to last night, Dallas drafts Dez Bryant. I instantly think man I hope he takes #88. This morning on the Cowboys website #88 Dez Bryant jersey for sale!

How awesome is that.

Vikings - I'm on the fence. All the projected players to Minnesota were taken earlier so I'll be surprised with the two they draft today. They have great scouts and I'm hoping for a repeat of last years draft where all of their picks got to see the field. Toby Gerhart to Minnesota - the second coming of Leroy Hoard?
