Anyone got one of these? I'm always looking for new music. I just downloaded Danyo Cummings, Tristan Prettyman, and Anuhea last night. I really like the island/reggae alternative stuff.

What music is on your check out list?

Saw Band of Horses last night. Great show.

Stumbled upon Tyrone Wells a couple of years ago. Kind of interesting checking in on his website and/or myspace page to see what kind of new music he's making. Good chill tunes.

I've become a big fan of MGMT. This album has been out about 2 years. New one coming out next month.

Honestly I like the whole Oracular Spectacular album. Time to Pretend, The Youth, Future Reflections are some good ones.

Not very new but I really like Chinese Democracy by GnR. I dont know if Axl has any credibility anymore but I just don't remember many people talking about it when the album came out. Also I've been listening to Halfway to Hazard non-stop the past week. Awesome country/southern rock band that hardly no one knows about.

I love that someone else here has mentioned Tyrone Wells. He's amazing. He'll actually be in Des Moines (at Drake) next Thursday (3/25) doing an acoustic show with Tony Lucca (another one of my favorites). I'll be selling merch, so be sure to say "hey" if you make it out.

I have so many favorites, the list would be a blur. Most recently, I bought albums by Benjy Davis Project, Sara Haze, Todd Carey and Curtis Peoples. They're pretty much in constant rotation at the moment.

Anuhea is on radio margaritaville all the time. I really like her.

The Hold Steady's "Heaven is Whenever" comes out in May. They're one of my favorite bands, so I'm really, really excited for that.

Drive-By Truckers just released a new album "The Big To Do", and it's probably going to be my favorite album of this year. If you get it on itunes, the bonus track is balls out cover of "Strutter" by Kiss.

I have Spoon's "Transference" but haven't given it a proper listen yet. I like the little bit I've heard.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have an album "Mojo" coming out soon as well. Petty's last album, "Highway Companion" was really good, so hopefully this is in the same vein.

I'm not sure what your tastes are, but I recently checked out My Morning Jacket and I really like them.

I need to check out the DBT's new one. I wasn't aware that it was out yet. I saw them a year ago and it was one of the best rock-n-roll shows I've seen in quite some time.

Great band. I like it when they rock out, as opposed to the mellower stuff.

Easily one of the best live bands out there. Their sound, especially live, is what I think of when I hear the term "rock and roll". Judging by your screen name, I'd say you will really enjoy the bonus track .
