XFL/CFL merger?

Be very interested to see how that would work with the difference in rules. I doubt the CFL would want to switch back to "american" type of rules so it would be on the XFL to do so if they played each other. Could be wrong though.

They could have different rules and homefield determines which rules you follow.

Partnership might mean nothing more than sharing a media deal for more year-round coverage and a potential "championship game" between them at some point. I don't anticipate there being a merger as the products are very different, and that's something I liked about the XFL.

I think it might indicate that the XFL is still struggling to find a formula that earns money, however.
