WSJ - Schools That Could End Up Nowhere

"Former Miami athletic director Sam Jankovich said some of these schools—like Iowa State—should be looking for others who might be left out to "see if you could put together a real good conference.""

I really think what this Sam guy wanted to say was ... "see if you could put together a crap conference no one cares about."

So, who reads the WSJ for sports news??? Unless you consider the stock market a sporting event, which, to an extent, it is.

The Bears and Cyclones also have another strike: they're not the most popular programs in their own states.

Better add that strike to Cincinnati, Louisville, South Florida, TCU, and on and on...

Baylor and Iowa State also lack the prestige of other Big 12 teams such as Oklahoma and Texas

No **** tons teams don't have that amout of prestige.
